Day 4:

After breakfast in the hotel we depart Linz and travel again on the Autobahn in a southerly direction, entering the area of the Alps. The scenery passed Liezen is beautiful and before we arrive in Graz we will actually pass under a massive mountain through a long tunnel. The city of Graz has been designated by the UN as a 'historic heritage, and it is also the capital of the famous Steiermark (basically another Province of Austria). As we will be arriving in Graz relatively early we will again make a sightseeing tour with a local guide before checking into the hotel. Although this city is well know for its beautiful historic architecture, no doubt, our Coach Robin (who has lived and played ice hockey here for a several years) will be able to point out some other attractions of interest to his fellow travelers. The restaurant location for the dinner this evening has been selected by Robin.

Day 5:

Again after breakfast in the hotel we leave Graz and travel in a south‑westerly direction through Alpine scenery passed Klangenfurt, which is another city in Austria also well known for its ice hockey team in the premier league. Less than one hour south of Klangenfurt we cross over the Loibl mountain pass and then enter the relatively small country of Slavenia. Within a short drive we will arrive at our hotel in Bled before noon, where we will have two overnights.

In the early afternoon we leave for the capital city of Ljubljana, a distance of about 45 km. There we will have another exhibition game against the team Olimpija Ljubljana. Following this game we will have dinner with the players from this team before return to our hotel in Bled.
